Was craving for something sweet and looked for some options online. Found something interesting and we decided to try it out.
There are a few outlets but the Remicone we visited is located in Garosu-gil, one of the hipster areas in Gangnam. It was a little walk from Sinsa station but there are lots of interesting stores and items to check out along the way.
Located in a corner, not too obvious from the main street though. However, it is very near to H&M so keep an eye out!
Remicone serves unique ice-cream/desserts.
Thing is, the place was small and super crowded. They were slightly understaffed too. Maybe it had something to do with Kim Soo Hyun being in the area and the tens or maybe a hundred fans waiting outside of the event area.. :(
We decided to order off their specials menu as they are, well, special.
You could also choose to order soft serve with toppings, at different prices.
Hawaiian Beach (₩5,300), the shaved ice on top looks like an iceberg though. Surfboard was made of chocolate whilst the palm tree was made from plastic.
Another of Remicone's popular dessert, the Thunder Bomb (₩6,100).
Cotton candy was a little less fluffier than imagined, maybe because the workers were juggling multiple orders at once and it was quite crazy tbh.
Took it with milk flavoured soft serve and it was good.
Bit pricier than Milkcow but tastes nicer and more insta-worthy. Heh.
