Hey, remember those yellow minions from Despicable Me? They're back!

The yellow dudes from Despicable Me


There's a trailer of the Despicable Me 2 movie, which is to be released in 2013. Now, the one of the trailers is, how do you put it? Downright special. Usually you get snippets of an oncoming movie for its trailer but for this movie, you get an addictive song called "The Banana Song" by some people. Did I mention that these yellow guys are quite fond of bananas? Well, "extremely crazy about bananas" is more like it.

Actually, the song is pretty pointless but you have to admit that it is funny. That's why it is so addictive! Of course, the cute yellow guys helped too. They are quite lovable. My classmates are crazy about them after one of our teachers showed us some videos of them. (They sang the song during Chinese period and the teacher's expression was EPIC!) Anyway, I'll not be boring you people with the history of these yellow guys, so here comes another video, a short movie clip this time:



I personally love the part when the banana fell and one of the minions walked by holding an apple. The others were like "baple! baple!" I guess that it reminds me of those toddlers who couldnt pronounce "apple" perfectly.

Too bad the movie will only be released in 2013. I'd love to watch the cute yellow minions back in action :D
Oh well, there are other movies to watch in 2012..~
