Eat Me, Bangsar.

13:25

A few friends and I decided to go for a little food trip around Bangsar about 2-3 weeks ago (mainly at Bangsar Village Mall and the many shops at Jalan Telawi 1, 2, 3, etc.). After some research, Jac suggested that we stop by Eat Me, a dessert place next to KGB (Killer Gourmet Burgers) who shares the ownership.

Sorry, no DSLR shots for this post. Oops.

It's a small place with seats outside too but we prefer sitting inside as the ambiance is a little different from sitting outside. (and also cause I don't fancy smokers) So, we waited for about 5-10 minutes for a table inside cause the place was full.

They serve a variety of desserts including toasts, waffles and even durian cake! The artisanal desserts there are definitely photogenic.

There are many different types of coffee and chocolate to choose from, even combinations like lavender and white chocolate! (yep, definitely going to try that one the next time)

Mich's Nutella Chill Pill (RM 14.50).

A little too sweet, according to my friends. But it's something new for us as we've heard of coffee cubes but never Nutella. The words "CHILL PILL" are even engraved on the cube. How cool is that?

After scrutinising the menu for another 10 minutes, we decided to get some Japanese Ice Tarts (RM 8.90 for 2).

They are just about the size of your average cheese tarts and egg tarts. There are a few fruity flavours to choose from. We went with strawberry and passion fruit (the store totally ran out of chempedak. sigh.). The tart shells are crumbly and nice whilst the fillings are quite good too but somehow they looked a little different from the ones on the menu...

According to Jiawen, churros taken from the top looks totally unglam and somehow like an octopus. LOL

So here's a not-so-octopus shot. Eat Me at Bangsar is well-known for its Churros (RM 13.90).

It was my first time trying churros and the closest food I could think of is a doughnut. It tastes like a doughnut but it is much more crispier. There are a few dip choices, including dark choc and salted caramel (read a few reviews after and I decided that I will try the salted caramel the next time).

So, this is our favourite of the day: A cute grass rabbit with a sparkling love-shaped thingy on its head. HAHAH I don't know why but it's adorable so here it is on this post.

Will probably drop by again with the DSLR ready. :3
