Montana Singapore, POMO: Awesome waffles!
20:17
We actually passed by it a few times and saying that we want to get a waffle or something but it never did happen until last week.
Was printing stuff for assessments that day (A1 prints are definitely not cheap) and had a nice lunch together with Cel. Yes, this place is also located near Lasalle.
They serve set lunches for S$11.90, inclusive of a pasta and a drink.
We were both craving for the the fried chicken waffle and also curious as we havn't tried any of its kind before even though it's been in Singapore for quite some time.
... and also pasta, cause why not.
Set Meal - Prawn Aglio Olio + Iced Lemon Tea (S$11.90)
I'm not kidding when I said that this is one of the best Aglio Olio I've tried in Singapore so far. Prawns are super fresh and cooked perfectly too. Lacking chilli flakes though.

Cel was boasting about her plating skills. Was impressive tbh. Fine dining portion somemore (we split and shared).
Is it just a plain waffle..?
Nah. Next up, the Southern Fried Chicken Waffle (S$14.50). We were actually expecting something like fried chicken on top of waffles but no, it's a waffle burger. Guess I should've read the description on the menu instead of ordering as fast as I could.
Chicken wasn't tender all the way through. Other than that, it was great, not so spicy (I eat spicy food frequently so it depends on your tolerance level).
AND THE BUTTERMILK WAFFLE? NAILED IT.
It was legit one of the best waffles I've ever tasted. Wasn't really crispy at the parts where the chicken was but the fragrance of the waffle was too inviting. We could actually taste the alluring flavours of the batter.
Do note that they do have a choice of crispy or fluffy for certain dessert waffles.
Shall most definitely return and try out other pastas and waffles. And some coconut brew if they are still available!
I like it that they have their own dim/cozy space in a well-lit building. It presents such a contrast. Good for small groups and afternoon talks.
