It was a sunny afternoon when we decided to drop by Super Kitchen Chilli Pan Mee at SS2. I've recently fulfilled my herbal Bak Kut Teh craving when this chilli pan mee craving popped up.
Been to this branch a couple of times for the past few years and decided that it was OK.
And also because it was on the way to my mom's office.
Look at that runny egg yolk!
Unfortunately, that runny egg yolk was the only thing I was happy about.
Chilli Pan Mee (RM7.50). The price of a single bowl of noodles took another RM1 hike.
Then we realised that the amount of soup and noodles has significantly lessened. :(
Mixing up the chilli flakes and the noodles. Let's not forget the egg.
More chilli flakes.
Even the chilli flakes weren't as good as it used to be. Disappointed that the standard plummeted since the last time I tried this.
However, there were still quite a number of customers that day. I guess not everyone is as picky, or maybe they weren't regulars like us.
Might need some convincing for me to go back (sorry!).

Just viewing those photos that you shoot already make me swallow my saliva and feel hungry now. I'm chili lover, definitely will go and try this out. Thanks for sharing this good information, but you mentioned the quality and portion seems degrade, is't still worth to try this out?
ReplyDeleteHi there Elizabert. I did feel that the quality deteriorated. However, it's still decent enough if you are a fan of chilli pan mee (and if it's close to where you live/work/study!). My sister still frequents it often.
