Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee, Chow Kit.

Another spontaneous breakfast trip after one of my mom's company's events. There was no argument when Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee was nominated for breakfast. Therefore, the photos were taken by my Samsung Galaxy S4 instead of the usual D90. :P

I've only been to the Publika branch but I've wanted to go to the original one since I was introduced to Kin Kin Chilli Pan Mee.

After a few minutes' drive from Tasik Titiwangsa, we've arrived at our destination.

It was the same day as the Terri Fox Run and there were quite a few runners there. However, there's no queue there and it's a relief for us as we were quite hungry then.

Let's see. We ordered 11 bowls of noodles.
The fragrance of the fried onion is there and the poached egg is nicely served. I find the noodles to be moist. Some of the chilli pan mee I've had are quite dry and I dislike that. I usually have to add some soup to moisten the noodles but this is an exception.

However, the noodles were a little bit salty that day. Our table agreed on that. I'm not sure if that happens every day or just that particular day since that's my first time there.

Again, while chilli pan mee, add in a small amount of chilli flakes at a time or else you'd scorch your tongue trying to finish the whole bowl of noodles!

They also sell soup noodles but the chilli pan mee is still the best dish there.

I heard that the service is quite lousy there but we did not receive any bad treatment there and the boss was quite OK. Perhaps it's because it's still not lunch time (a.k.a. busy time)?

Oops. I've forgotten the exact price but it is about RM6 or RM7 per bowl.

Another of my fav pan mee places has got to be Tian Yake Ban Mian :3 It does not specialise in chilli pan mee but soup mushroom pan mee, which is the ultimate pan mee for me.

Food: 8.5/10 (probably more if it weren't salty that day)
Ambiance: 7/10
Price: 8/10
Service: 7/10
Overall: 7.6/10
