London Olympics 2012 Badminton - Men's Singles Finals

Why the sudden interest in badminton? Actually, it's not that sudden.

There's this Malaysian called Lee Chong Wei (now Dato Lee Chong Wei) who plays badminton. He was once the top badminton player in the world. Therefore, as a Malaysian, I'm here to root for him!

Dato Lee Chong Wei

I've learnt to not judge someone by his looks. He's a great badminton player and is therefore admired by us Malaysians. He's an idol to most of us.

hehes. I kinda like this photo of Dato Lee Chong Wei
So, back to the London Olympics 2012 Badminton - Men's Singles Finals. Dato Lee Chong Wei versus China's Lin Dan, who is currently the best badminton player.

The match results were:
21-15, 10-21 and 19-21.

The last one was so close! My family and I were glued to the TV screen, not wanting to miss anything. It's a good feeling, watching it with your family. The "yay"s, "boo"s and "damn"s are just so good to hear. Hahas.

Although Dato Lee Chong Wei lost (yes, he got 2nd), he's still a national hero to us.

To be frank, I was wondering if we could get the day off tomorrow if Malaysia won. Well, unfortunately, it didn't happen.
Yes, I know. It's just too bad.

Anyway, time to get charged for school tomorrow morning. Catch you guys later!
